In 1920, French Dermatologist Dr. Francois Debat used the word innocuous (meaning harmless)asinspiration when naming his newly formulated skincare range. Now with close to a century of skincare know-how, Innoxa remains true to the founder's brand philosophy of ‘First Do No Harm’.

The simple, meaningful philosophy of ‘First Do No Harm’ is at the core of everything we do - we do not test on animals, our products are carefully dermatologically tested, we only use hypo-allergenic ingredients, and as a result our products are endorsed by Beauty without Cruelty.

In the early 1990’s we took our stance on no cruelty to animals one step further, by systematicallyensuringno ingredient that caused harm to animals was included in our products. All ingredients derived from within the animal were removed. Lanolin, Beeswax and other by-products are still found in some Innoxa products, as these ingredients are gathered as a by-product with no harm done to the animal at any time. For example, Lanolin is a by-product derived from shearing the sheep and indeed not to do so wouldbe inhumane. We proudly display full ingredient listings on all our products. We take our inspiration from nature and use it as wisely and economically as possible - utilising plant,mineral and marine extracts, and bio-engineering what we can so that our precious ecosystem can remain intact. We consider the environment in everything we do, from product to packaging.

As a result, our skincare products are a perfect example of the happy union of science and nature. What's more, they really work. We do not test on animals and all our products are dermatologically tested. What on earth for? Our products are for humans, which is why we only make hypo-allergenic products that are safe to use on even the most sensitive of skins.
