Skin Diaries 2010

Have just discovered Innoxa’s Skin Specialist Ultra-Moist Plumping Lip Gloss. Don’t be fooled; this is not just another natural-look gloss. My lips can’t help themselves…under its warming tingle they plump up into a killer pout! Ginger extract stimulates microcirculation (the warming tingle) – a key benefit for anyone wanting luscious, kissable lips. It conditions too so lips don’t just look divine, they feel divine too. I highly recommend it.

Good bye Summer, hello Autumn! Going to accessorize myself with hats and scarves and dust off my beloved, long-neglected boot collection. ‘Tis the season to be pampered! Going to luxuriate in divine moisturizers and languish in well-deserved hot baths. Soft, supple skin hidden under long sleeves and layers is a saucy little secret every woman should have!

Does anyone else wish they were still young enough to justify an Easter Egg hunt? Only problem is these days too much chocolate is a no-no. Perhaps hubby should hide beauty products around the house instead. I think a few well-phrased hints are in order.

Can’t help but notice that refreshing little chill in the mornings. Now is the time to moisturize religiously! Change of season always dries my skin out. Liberal application morning, evening and hand cream in the handbag at all times. That’s the way forward for me. Good thing Innoxa’s Bath & Shower ranges have perfect handbag size tubes!

Love summer but glad it’s starting to cool down. Less temptation to tan equals less likelihood of wrinkles. I’m a bit concerned about damage already done…I know sunbathing is a no-no but on that beach holiday in December I just couldn’t help myself. Help is at hand though – I have stocked up on the Skin Line-Defy range, especially the Repair Serum. Have been applying madly twice a day for 2 weeks now and I’m seeing results. Thank Heavens!

Must look my best for Valentine’s Day. Got a hot date and no doubt many adoring secret admirers. This dating game is a little pressured and I always get a bit nervous. There’s nothing like a good soak before you go out, perhaps with a splash of Calming Foaming Bath Milk for irresistibly smooth skin and a wonderfully relaxed mind. I am definitely going to factor one in on the day.

3 weeks into the New Year and my resolutions are going strong. I am quite pleased with myself. Top of the list was better skincare and renewed commitment to that all-important beauty regime. My grandmother always said the golden rule was “moisturize, moisturize, moisturize”! And she was right. Using the right products for my skin with daily regularity has left my skin problem free, looking plump and feeling great.

Need to stock up on my Skin Specialist Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover again. All those festive parties had it working extra hard. The delicate skin around my eyes would not have coped without it. Leaving make-up on over night because you’re too tired to take it off is a cardinal sin! Skin Specialist makes it so quick and easy and frequent use has left me looking refreshed, revived and ready for 2010.
