Happy Festive Season! Love, love, love this time of year! The parties, the shopping, the presents, the fun! I can tell you what all my girlfriends will be getting in their stockings: Innoxa goodies! There are so many to choose from and each product is as unique as my friends. Honestly, it’s the perfect gift. And who would say no to the gift of great skin?
2009 Skin Diary Entries
The summer heat is catching up with me. Sweating like crazy, especially when getting into a hot car in the middle of the day. Have to drink extra water to keep hydrated and skin supple. Love adding lemon slices, orange slices, cucumber slices or sprigs of mint to make the water more fancy and it tastes great too.
On a mission to look after my bust area. Found a bust firming exercise, and I really think it’ll work. Holding my hands together in front of my chest as if praying, I press hands together as hard as I can. Repeat 50 times. Did it while waiting for nail polish to dry. Pretty cool exercise.
Put on my bikini and noticed that my boobs aren’t quite as “high” as they were. Freaked out a bit, sigh, I guess age is taking its toll. But started using Skin Specialist Firming Neck & Bust Treatment, massaged it into the skin in circular movements, enjoyed the light floral scent. Hopefully I’ll delay time for a bit!
Went to a birthday braai. Enjoyed being out in the sun again! Must be good with sun protection, have started using the Radiant Skin Moisturiser SPF 15 and then covered up with my new straw hat. Let the sun shine in…!
Finding that my skin is looking a bit dull, unlike those radiant, bronze models I see in all the shop windows. Decided to try the new Body Scrub with Tea Tree extract. Loved the light scent and skin is feeling much sexier!
It’s definitely summer weather now! Hooray for summer dresses and sandals… But it’s also the end of hiding under long pants. I better start shaving again.
Spring has been pushed out the way by summer! Hello skirts and sandals, how I’ve missed you guys. It’s also time to be extra diligent with polishing and buffing. Skin Specialist Polished Skin Exfoliator is the star in my bathroom right now. Just a few light scrubs twice a week has got me glowing with the spring breeze and looking oh-so-fresh!
Two months of blistering cold wind every time I step out the house has made my skin hard to smile about. I’m starting to wonder whether it’s possible to cut around my face and take off my leathery hard mask of a face when winter is over.
Hot water dries out skin, I read somewhere. So I am trying hard to fight off the temptation to step into a hot bath. Another bad habit is letting the hot water run for a minute before washing my hands. Besides being evil to the environment, I need to keep it luke warm and moisturize as soon as the water is dried off. One And All makes a handbag-friendly bottle of hand cream with spf 15. I find it’s great for those dry, red winter noses too.
